Cost of Iphone 5

As you may already know the Release of the Iphone 5, is a Mystery to everyone following along. Since we can only speculate what the actual cost of IPhone 5 is? Lets take a look at the past releases and cost of Iphones. If you haven’t already checkout my post called History of Iphones. I broke it all down from the Original IPhone to to the current IPhone 4. Looking at the graph, you can see from the timeline it may be safe to suggest that the Cost of IPhone 5 may be right around $199 for 16gb and $299 for 32gb. That price only reflects for qualifying 2 year contracts from either Verizon or AT&T.

I also would like to point a few Key factors that may Increase the Cost of Iphone 5. The first unusual trend is, that most of the releases from the previous IPhones were done in June and July. Now that those Months have come and gone, lets focus on what Apple Strategy may be for this?

* With Fall arriving and Holidays approaching, more people spending *

* Also School and Colleges from all over start in the fall, ” school buzz ” *

* IOS 5 Software *

* Slowing Competitors from their cutting edge technology, till after the Holidays. *

* Less sales from Competition, this could also imply to the above statement. *

These are just some Ideas. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cost of Iphone 5 were around $249 16GB and $349 32GB. That price only reflects for qualifying 2 year contracts from either Verizon or AT&T.    The reason I say this, the new software IOS 5 comes with a ton of New features that will have everyone drooling , you can check them out on Apple’s Home Page, and since the 2nd generation of IPhones have sold over 1 Million Copies during their first weekend  (3days of sales) and has continued breaking records ever since.  Expect a release date either on September 30 2011 or that following Friday October 7th. Within that time frame I’m guessing. And also Expect the Cost of Iphone 5 be right around$199 16GB and $299 32GB.
